Who is Lue?

Storyteller. CREATIVE. Connecter. 

I’ve spent my life studying cultures, collecting and creating stories, and gathering people together across 70 countries, 8 languages, and thousands of connections with strangers, colleagues, and friends around the world. Along the way, I have been surrounded by art, photography, music, dance, food, and a multitude of cultural expressions. It is hard to pinpoint one thing that has emerged as a prevalent creative form. For me, it is within the intersections of creative acts and life, hospitality and gathering where magic can happen. This fills me with immense joy, energy, and an uncontainable need to share my experiences so others may be inspired and enriched.

I find myself in a place in between client work, finishing my doctorate, volunteering, and leaning into creative inquiry in the spaces in between. For me, work is a joy, learning is a passion, and my writing and art provide me a place for alchemy and expression. This site is where I will share my creative adventures, be it artwork, essays, poetry, ethnography, flowers, and culinary inquiry.
